Olapex only connects the disulfide bonds of hair - keratin molecules, which are destroyed by thermal exposure or hair coloring. A mask enriches hair with necessary components - minerals, oils, proteins - and moisturizes and incases it, which cannot be done with Olaplex only. Therefore, I prefer to do both procedures in the salon at once in order to get a more effective result.
My practice has shown that when I work with Olaplex, the quality of hair is much better, and I have been watching hair for 25 years now and I cannot but agree that the coloring without Olaplex has gone out of style! J
